The Mississippi 4-H Horse Club is proud to be able to award two $500 scholarships at the 2027 Mississippi 4-H Horse Show.The postmark date for the applications is December 1, 2026.



Applicants must be seniors in high school in the year this application is submitted. This scholarship can be received by an individual only once and will be paid only to an accredited school, university or college in the continental United States. The scholarship must be used within four years of receiving it. A qualification form must accompany each application from the Extension Agent verifying the qualifications of the applicant. It is acceptable to have more than one Extension Agent verify the application.

Eligibility

-Must be a 4-H member
-Must be at least 14 years old as of January 1, 2027
-Must not have graduated from high school
-Must maintain at least a B average

Application Deadline

December 1, 2026

Program Highlights

-Serve in the Mississippi Senate for one week
-Gain firsthand experience with the legislative process
-Meet elected officials and observe state government in action
-Lodging provided, some meals, and chaperone support are provided.
