๐Ÿพ Found a lost pet in Owasso? You can now check for a microchip yourself!

The Owasso Animal Control Division has installed new self-service Check the Chip Scanning Stations, giving Good Samaritans access to microchip scanners 24/7.

These stations can help reunite lost pets with their families more quickly โ€” without requiring a trip to an animal shelter or assistance from a pet care professional when it isnโ€™t needed. Keeping lost pets out of shelters also allows staff to focus more resources on animals that are neglected, surrendered, or otherwise need care.

๐Ÿ“ Self-help scanners are located at:

๐Ÿถ Owasso Police Department, 111 N. Main St. โ€” customer parking area
๐Ÿฑ Owasso Fire Department, 11933 E. 116th St. N. โ€” customer parking area

Thanks to Best Friends Animal Society for providing the stations (designed by AKC Reunite) through their โ€œReturn to Homeโ€ grant.
