🚧 Highway 41 north of Highway 5 is getting closer to reopening:

Curb and gutter have been installed along the roadway. Next week, crews plan to complete base paving and trail paving in preparation for reopening Highway 41 on Oct. 5.

Other recent and upcoming access changes include:

Bavaria Road and the new trail along the east side reopened Sept. 21.

Highway 41 south of Highway 5 to 82nd Street closed Sept. 21.

Rolling Acres Road is expected to close Oct. 5 for roundabout construction.

Lake Minnetonka Regional Trail is closed between Steiger Lake Lane and Rolling Acres Road for culvert work.

Reminder - Join us for an open house on Monday!

Significant improvements are coming to Highway 11 (Jonathan Carver Parkway) and Highway 40 in Carver. Join us for an open house to learn more about the proposed design and speak with project staff about construction beginning in 2027.

There will be no formal presentation, so you may arrive at any time during the meeting to learn about the project and connect with project staff.

🚧 Highway 10 Resurfacing update:

Segment 3 (Highway 59 to Highway 11) is expected to reopen this evening, Sept. 23, after pavement striping is completed.

Segment 2 (Highway 284 to Highway 59) remains closed while crews continue curb and gutter work and construction of new raised medians.

Segment 1 (Highway 5 to Highway 284) remains open. Permanent pavement striping has been installed.

On Monday, Sept. 28, pavement removal is planned at the Highway 10 and Highway 59 intersection. The intersection is expected to be very congested for several hours Monday morning. Drivers should plan for delays and use alternate routes if possible.

Trail work also continues throughout the project corridor. Drivers should follow posted traffic controls and use caution in the area.

🚧 A section of the Lake Minnetonka Regional Trail will close Wednesday, Sept. 23, for culvert replacement.

The closure is between Park Drive and Rolling Acres Road (Highway 13), north of Highway 5, and is expected to last three weeks.

Trail users should plan to use an alternate route during the closure.

Flagging expected on Highway 212 Wednesday, Sept. 23 between Cologne and Norwood Young America.

🚧 Flagging expected on Highway 212 Wednesday, Sept. 23:

Motorists traveling through the Highway 212 project area between Cologne and Norwood Young America should expect intermittent flagging from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Traffic will be reduced to a single lane while directions alternate for short durations. Drivers may experience brief delays.

Bavaria Road has reopened between Highway 5 and Highway 18 (Lyman Boulevard) in Victoria.

Overnight, crews ground in permanent pavement markings and installed thermoplastic crosswalk markings and turn arrows. These markings are highly durable and designed to last longer through traffic and winter snowplowing.

Working overnight minimized impacts to motorists and provided a safer work environment for crews. Thanks to nearby residents for their patience and understanding.

Highway 61 will close on Sept. 28 for sewer work.

Road closure alert - Hwy 61 (Chaska Blvd) from Old Carver Rd to Mt Hope Rd will be closed to thru traffic starting Monday, Sept 28. The closure is expected to last 6 weeks.

The detour will be Big Woods Blvd and Jonathan Carver Pkwy.

The closure is necessary for crews to install a sewer line along the north side of Hwy 61.

Also, a reminder that a portion of Spring Creek Dr is closed for a different project.

🚧 Highway 41 north of Highway 5 to reopen, Rolling Acres Road to close Oct. 5:

On Monday, Oct. 5 (weather permitting) Highway 41 between Highway 5 and Tanadoona Drive in Chanhassen will reopen.

At the same time, Rolling Acres Road will close between St. Moritz Street and Interlaken in Victoria to begin roundabout construction.

A note for drivers traveling on Highway 5 this weekend: Plan for reduced speeds and temporary shifts in driving lanes near the Minnewashta Parkway intersection while crews relocate underground utilities.
