This month we are so excited to have a special guest join us to talk about infant sleep. Callie is a registered nurse with over 9 years of experience in women’s health, including 5 years in labor and delivery. Her passion for supporting families led her to roles in obstetrics & gynecology, pediatrics, and nursing education. As a mother of two, she understand the challenges of pregnancy and early parenthood, and she is dedicated to empowering parents through practical tools and compassionate guidance. She specializes in prenatal and postpartum support, lactation, infant sleep, and potty training, creating a supportive space where you can feel confident and connected throughout this journey.

A simple prayer for mothers today. 🤍 Happy Mother’s Day to all the women loving sacrificially each day.

One thing moms often forget to pack for labor… snacks!

Even if you don’t feel like eating much, having a few light, easy options on hand can make a big difference.

This is a wonderful childbirth course!

https://christianhypnobirthing.mykajabi.com/a/2147522467/2FA7NzUv

The Faith-Filled Childbirth course is usually $37/month, but for Easter, you can choose what you’re able to pay:
* 5/month — for those experiencing significant financial hardship (e.g. job loss or family crisis)
* $10/month — for those feeling financial pressure due to the current economic climate
* $20/month — a discounted rate, while helping support other women who need a lower price

🚨 If you’re pregnant—or might be someday—this affects you.

In Colorado, you can choose a midwife…
But if you need hospital care?
You may lose your midwife.

Scheduled today to be heard in committee tomorrow, Tuesday 3/24/26 - take action TODAY!

Here’s why 👇

Right now, hospitals can require certified nurse-midwives (CNMs) and certified midwives (CMs) to have a physician “signature” just to obtain hospital privileges.

That requirement was removed outside of hospitals in 2010 when Colorado recognized APRNs as independent providers, except in hospital systems.

So your provider can legally care for you… just not where 97% of births happen.

💔 That means:
• Disrupted care at the most vulnerable moment
• Less choice in providers
• More gaps in access to care

We are deeply grateful for our OB/GYN colleagues.
Midwifery is a distinct specialty—not a subset of OB—and we already work together in team-based care, just like every other specialty.
We also respect and support the many midwives working within hospital systems—this is not about individuals, but about removing structural barriers that limit access.

HB26-1092 helps fix this.

This bill does not expand scope.
It simply says public hospitals can’t require a supervisory or written collaborative agreement for CNMs/CMs to have privileges.

💡 What this could mean:
• You keep your provider—even if plans change
• More access in rural areas
• Safer, smoother care transitions
• More support during birth

And we need it.

➡️ 38% of Colorado counties are maternity care deserts
➡️ 1 in 5 can’t access first trimester care

Legislators need to hear from REAL families.

Two sweet babies, born just 3 hours apart 💜💙

I had the honor of supporting two families I adore this weekend. Thankfully, they were both at the same hospital! It was such a joy to walk alongside them as they welcomed their little ones.

I am So thankful to do this work. 🙏
