Today we recognize a major milestone—4 Immortals graduated the Basic Leader Course and step into the next chapter of leadership.
This course isn’t just about learning doctrine—it’s about building disciplined, confident NCOs ready to lead from the front. Through long days, tough standards, and constant growth, these Soldiers proved they have what it takes to develop others, enforce standards, and accomplish the mission.
Graduation from BLC marks the transition from being responsible for yourself to being responsible for others—and that’s what defines a Noncommissioned Officer.
We would like to recognize a few Soldiers that not only achieved the course standard, but exceeded the course standard:
SPC Adler-3rd Platoon-Distinguished Leadership Awardee
SGT Carratt-1st Platoon and SGT Lester-2nd Platoon: Commadants List
SPC Carter-1st Platoon-Superior Academic Achievement
Immortals took the course seriously and showed out by demonstrating excellence! To our newest leaders: lead with purpose, uphold the standard, and take care of your Soldiers. The Army is stronger because of you.

Too often, the quiet professionals—the ones who stay late, fix what’s broken, carry the extra weight, and never ask for recognition—are the same ones whose awards get delayed or overlooked.
Recognition isn’t just about a piece of paper or a medal. It’s about telling our Soldiers: we see you, we value you, and what you do matters. Today we recognized some Soldiers with company coins who contributed to the excellence of the Freedom Shield exercise!
PFC Gutierrez
PFC Perez
SPC Walter
PFC Le
PFC DeLaVara
We also took the time to recognize SFC Johnson with a company coin from the 11th Engineer BN for the outstanding work he did during the wet gap crossing during Freedom Shield!
The Immortals left it all on the field during the AFT and we recognized the highest AFT score in the company. With a perfect score of 500, SFC Carrillo was presented with a coin of excellence.
The April Soldier of the Month and Noncommissioned Officer of the month was also announced. The winners for the month of April was:
SPC Paris-HQ Platoon
SGT Saunders-3rd Platoon

Sweat on the ground. Heart rate through the roof. No shortcuts—just discipline.
Today, our Soldiers stepped up and attacked the Expert Physical Fitness Assessment (EPFA) with grit and purpose. Every sprint, every lift, every ounce of effort was a testament to what it means to pursue excellence when nobody’s watching and standards don’t bend.
This isn’t just about passing a test—it’s about proving to yourself that you can push past limits, stay composed under pressure, and perform when it matters most. That’s what separates the average from the exceptional.
Proud of the dedication, the resilience, and the mindset on display. This is how we build lethal, ready, and disciplined teams.
Standards matter. Effort matters. You matter. 🇺🇸💪

Stepping in front of the board takes more than knowledge—it takes confidence, discipline, and the courage to be evaluated.
These Soldiers showed exactly what that looks like as they competed in the Soldier of the Month and NCO of the Month board, while some validated their readiness for promotion board appearance. Hours of studying, refining their craft, and sharpening their military bearing led to this moment.
The board isn’t just about answering questions—it’s about demonstrating professionalism, presence, and the ability to think under pressure. It’s about proving you’re ready for the next level of responsibility.
Every Soldier who stood before the board raised the standard and represented their units with pride. Some earned top honors, others earned valuable experience—but all walked away better, sharper, and more prepared for what’s next.
This is how leaders are developed.
Stay ready. Stay disciplined. Step up when it’s your time.
Congratulations are in order for the following Soldiers who will be attending the promotion board:
SPC Howe
SPC Hernandez
SPC Rice
