We are happy to report that Prospect Lake is OPEN after the latest water quality test results. We closed the lake yesterday out of an abundance of caution after an elevated concentration of E. coli was detected. Shortly after the first sample was taken for testing, a routine water treatment was performed on Wednesday evening, which likely helped improve the water quality. It’s great news that Prospect Lake will be open for one of our city’s most popular events, the Labor Day Lift Off!

On Saturday, May 14th, D2 celebrated 24 students who graduated from Pikes Peak Community College with their Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degrees. Let’s show them some appreciation.

Did we mention they earned their college degree at NO COST and two weeks ahead of their high school diploma? It pays to attend District Two!
