What have Aspire Online Academy students been up to lately?

Students recently enjoyed an exciting field trip to Garden of the Gods and the U.S. Air Force Planetarium during our latest in-person day!

These in-person opportunities allow students to connect socially, build friendships, and make memories together beyond the virtual classroom. We love seeing our students learn and grow both online and face-to-face! 🧡

Check out this opportunity to elevate our student voices. We would love to see students from our community apply to be a part of this in a big way. Last year, we had a D2 student recognized as one of the top of the class and she was given a scholarship for her dedication and contributions.

The Chief’s Youth Advisory Council (YAC) gives Colorado Springs students ages 14–18 the opportunity to meet directly with the Chief of Police, learn more about CSPD operations, participate in hands-on experiences, and provide their perspectives on issues that matter to young people. The application deadline is September 14th, so make sure to act now if you have a student who is interested.

The Colorado Springs Police Department is looking for young people who want to make a difference, share their voice, and help shape conversations about policing and our community.
