He responds to several names around campus: Mister, Principal Guy, Mr. B, the Bald Admin, Beaudoin, Chief. He won’t stop squawking about Excellence in Every Endeavor or wearing the brand. He’s the bane of any ref’s existence at Sierra sporting events because he cheers a little too hard. He’s a weirdo from Milwaukee, but dang it he’s our weirdo! Stallion Nation, let’s wish a Happy Principal Appreciation Month to Sierra’s Mr. Beaudoin!!!

Stallion Nation, gather round for I come bearing good news!!! October is Principal Appreciation Month, and if you know anything about the craziness of running a high school you know that Assistant Principals are the ones that truly make the magic happen! Add in dealing with Beaudoin’s wild ideas of grandeur and I think we can all agree that they epitomize Excellence in Every Endeavor and are overdue on some words of affirmation. Let’s show some love for Ms. Jacquet, Ms. Apodaca, Mr. Bisaillon, and Mr. Vecchio! Let’s be spicy: comment which one is your favorite! 😏😉 🐴

Stallion Nation, we have 29 weeks of instruction left which means we have 29 opportunities to make students feel seen, heard, and loved! This week’s Golden Golf Ball winner, courtesy of Senior Bryson Crawford, is English teacher Ms. Surratt! As our reigning Teacher of the Year winner, it was only a matter of time before Ms. Surratt was sitting back on the throne of greatness. In Surratt’s Advanced Placement (AP) classes, kids know they are going to leave mentally drained because academic excellence is the standard. Day in and day out, she is ensuring students take a step closer to getting a 3 or higher on their exam in the spring! In Bryson’s words, "Surratt has been the best teacher for me. She’s always supportive and has helped me grow!" Stallion Nation, let’s show some love for Ms. Surratt!

Stallion Nation, check this out!!! Students were able to explore the skeletal structure in groups on our new Anatomage table! Ms. Stone, Health Science Teacher, was awarded a grant exceeding $100,000 to get this table, making Sierra High School only the second high school in Colorado to have this table in a classroom. If that doesn’t describe Excellence in Every Endeavor, nothing does!
