On 6/3/26, we held a press conference for Michael Foster’s court hearing. Michael Foster is a Black man who was racially profiled, chased, and shot several times by Officers Daniel Mork and Steven Mibert. Michael was targeted that day by an officer he already had previous encounters with. Mork a few years earlier nearly beat Michael to death, and Michael filed a lawsuit against him. We demand Michael’s charges be dropped as this is a case of self defense, and Officers Mork and Mibert should be the ones indicted and fired for their attempted murder of Michael Foster.

The Colorado Springs Alliance condemns the Colorado Court of Appeals decision to reverse the convictions of the two paramedics who injected Elijah McClain with ketamine in Aurora, CO in 2019.
With new trials on the horizon, we call for the conviction of ALL involved in the murder of Elijah McClain!

The Colorado Springs Alliance condemns the South Carolina jurors decision to acquit Rick Chow for the murder of 14-year old Cryus Carmack-Belton in 2023. Cyrus was wrongfully accused of stealing water bottles and was chased down and shot in the back by gas station owner Rick Chow. This verdict is another in a long history of precedence for racist violence against Black people in the United States. Justice for Cryus! Black Lives Matter!
