From the first line [of defense] to the goal line, our Defenders kicked off our 3d Annual Super Bowl weekend with some camaraderie and competition! From great food, to games, to co****le and music, it all came to life within a matter of weeks.

We are bidding farewell to an incredible Executive Assistant to the Commander and a true cornerstone of our organization. Mrs. Dyer’s dedication, warmth, and organizational prowess will be deeply missed. We wish her nothing but the best on her journey. After almost four years with our team, she’s not just leaving a position; she’s leaving an irreplaceable mark on our hearts. SBD-1’s, 21st Security Forces Squadron is hosting our annual Peterson SFB Holiday Parade! Join us, TONIGHT, Dec. 19, 2023 to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year!

Here it is! The route map for the Holiday Parade tomorrow night. We will go though Enlisted housing first, the cross over to Officer housing.

Joining forces with the 21st Medical Group, our very own TSgt Jesus Gonzalez (pictured left) was recognized by the Colonel Hanson, Space Base Delta 1 Commander, for assisting our medical teammates to establish Space Base Delta 1’s first-ever drive-thru flu shot line. They came together to create a shield of protection against the flu! 💪💉 Outstanding job TSgt Gonzalez! 🫡

The Command Team would like to take this opportunity to recognize our outstanding defenders. Congratulations to SrA Jaime Galaviz on receiving his Air Force Achievement Medal for his 5 years of dedicated service while assigned to the 21st Security Forces Squadron. We would also like to recognize our 3rd Quarter Award winners; 21st Security Forces Squadron NCO of the Quarter SSgt Jonathan Ayer, Company Grade Officer of the Quarter 1st Lt. Connor Clancy and Squadron Team of the Quarter S3 Operations Staff. Congratulations!!

Receiving kudos for our Defenders always makes our day! This one comes specifically for A1C Kiley McKenzie from a mission partner who is extremely pleased with her and her teammates. "Big shoutout to A1C McKenzie for keeping that second lane [installation access point] running smoothly every morning from 5:00am-5:30 AM, even when traffic's crazy 90% of the time. Big kudos to her and her amazing team for their dedication!

Great job Kiley. Your command team, operations leadership and flight leadership are super proud of you. Thank you for your outstanding commitment to excellence. 🫡
