Do you like board games? What about giant board games?
On Friday, June 6, from 2-4 p.m., you can bring the whole family and enjoy a twist on your standard game night using our popular life-sized board games! Choose from Life-Size Candyland, Life-Size Battleship, and Life-Size Clue. Team up generationally or mix it up for an intergenerational advantage and play all together.

Join us on Sat., June 7 from 1 – 4 p.m. at East Library for the Pikes Peak Regional History Symposium!
This year, the Pikes Peak Regional History Symposium kicks off with our best film festival yet! Featured films include a visual journey through photos and film exploring an in-depth exploration of Jim Bates’ WWII films; a historical hike through the Greenwood Park ruins co-produced by Regional History & Genealogy; a look at the history and growth of Mexican markets in the region; and an examination of the ancestral homelands of the Jicarilla Apache. The high school History Day documentary competition winners will be presenting their award-winning films from High School History Day.

Have a voice in your community, meet new friends, and make a difference - all while having fun! We want to learn from the experts (you!) what programs and events tweens want to see at the Library. Each meeting will include time for you to give ideas or feedback, as well as time for a fun project or activity.

Save the date for summer fun! The 2025 PPLD Summer Adventure presented by Friends of Pikes Peak Library District reading program kicks off on Mon., June 2 and once again is open to all ages. Read, explore, and create your way through the summer for a chance to earn prizes and beat the "summer slide." Registration starts Mon., June 2.

Are you a teen? Do you love Anime?
Then come hang out with other teens that share your passion! Cosplay is welcome!
The next meeting will be Wednesday, May 28, from 5 - 6 p.m. in the East Teen Center!
Some anime shown may be rated PG-13 or TV-14. Ages 12 - 18.

Join us for our monthly Senior Movie Matinee that meets Wednesday, May 28, from 10 a.m. - noon. This month's film is a comedy-drama with an ensemble cast. It is rated PG-13 with a run time of 124 minutes.
No registration required.
No outside food will be allowed. All drinks must have lids. Popcorn and water will be provided.
