Our Red Rocks Room Artist of the Month is Daniel Christie Art! You can view his beautiful work that explores life at and purchase his art through the end of July.

About the Artist: A passion for nature and art is what initially brought Daniel Christie to Rock Ledge Ranch. He spent many hours plein air painting at the Ranch before volunteering, interpreting 19th century art, and eventually finding his way to working in the admin office. Working at the Ranch and interpreting history has brought a dimension to Daniel’s art that he hopes inspires you to join him in wonder about the beauty of the past.

At the Ranch visitors can witness the courage of people who lived in that time period, and people’s work ethic, endurance, and ingenuity. There’s a depth to the history at Rock Ledge Ranch that Daniel would never have comprehended had he never gotten involved here.

Daniel hopes that through this exhibit you too may see a sliver of the beauty to be found at Rock Ledge Ranch and are inspired to visit the Ranch yourself and immerse yourself in the wonder of history that truly comes to life.

(While you are welcome to visit the grounds of Rock Ledge Ranch and witness the natural beauty of an oft-forgotten part of Garden of the Gods Park from dawn til dusk every day, the buildings are open to visitors to experience history come to life Wednesdays through Saturdays 10am-5pm and Sundays 1-5pm. June 3-August 15.)
