Annual Impact Report
💡 9,255 LED Bulbs Installed! 💡
This year, Energy Resource Center installed 9,255 LED bulbs in homes across the communities we serve.
While each bulb may be a small upgrade, together they can make a meaningful difference—helping families use less energy, reduce utility costs, and enjoy more efficient and comfortable homes.
We’re proud of the impact our team made this year, one home and one light bulb at a time. 💙

On the Job
Behind the scenes of weatherization!
In this video, our crew works through the process of installing ceiling insulation in a mobile home with a pitched roof. After carefully removing the existing roof caps to access the ceiling cavity, the team uses a fill tube to install the insulation before reinstalling the caps for the final product.
Another hands-on step toward creating a more comfortable and energy-efficient home! 💙⚡

We had a great time at Pawtoberfest this past weekend, hosted by the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region!
ERC staff enjoyed connecting with community members, sharing information about our services, and celebrating one of the Pikes Peak region's favorite fall events.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth to learn more about how ERC helps create healthy, energy-efficient homes throughout our community 🐾

Big Impact, Year-Round! Throughout the year, Energy Resource Center helped create an estimated 29,834.3 MMBtus in energy savings for the homes we served.
Behind this number are real families experiencing more comfortable, healthier, and more energy-efficient homes. Through insulation, air sealing, heating upgrades, and other weatherization improvements, our team continues to make a meaningful difference in the communities we serve.
Every project represents an opportunity to improve comfort, reduce energy waste, and support healthier homes—and together, those projects add up to lasting community impact.
We are proud of the work our team accomplished this year and grateful for the opportunity to serve Colorado families.

What happens after the insulation is installed?
Once the ceiling insulation is in place, our crew carefully seals the access points to help protect the home and ensure a proper seal. We secure sheet metal patches with Lexel caulking, apply Peel & Seal for added protection, and finish with reflective Roof Pro paint. 🏡
In most scenarios, we paint the entire roof, but this particular home did not require it.
It’s all about the details—creating a well-sealed, more energy-efficient home from the inside out! 💙

A Little Gratitude Goes a Long Way
One of the most rewarding parts of our work is hearing from the families we serve. Throughout the year, ERC receives thoughtful cards, letters, and notes sharing how home improvements have made a difference in their lives.
These heartfelt messages remind us why our work matters and inspire our team every day. We’re incredibly grateful for the families who welcome us into their homes and for the opportunity to help create safer, healthier, and more comfortable spaces. 🏡✨
Thank you for letting us be part of your journey! 💙

Behind the scenes of weatherization!
In this video, our crew prepares to install ceiling insulation in a mobile home with a metal bowstring roof. The team carefully cuts into the roof and lifts the metal tabs to access the ceiling cavity, then uses a fill tube to blow insulation into the space.
It’s hands-on work that helps improve comfort and energy efficiency from the top down! 💙⚡
