and 'On Patrol Live' Captain Danny Brown, snuck up behind a huge fan of the show.

Christian, who is 9-years-old, has been watching OPL for the three years and says, "Captain Brown is fair and funny!". Christian also mentioned he loves to watch CPT Brown serve a search warrant.

CPT Brown says it warms his heart and is thankful, every time a fans stop by for a visit.

Richland County Council presented a resolution recognizing the life of Deputy Jacob “Jake” Salrin. Region 1 deputies and Jake’s family were there in attendance.

Sheriff Lott and spoke to a group of national and local agencies on how to keep SC State Fair goers safe.

As hundreds of thousands of guests visit Columbia each year to attend the fair, Sheriff Lott says the number one priority is to keep the citizens safe.

"People from around the state save up all year to enjoy themselves at the fair," Sheriff Lott continues, "They should not have to worry about their safety, in what should be a happy environment."

Sheriff Lott spoke with local leaders and media about youth and gang violence prevention. Decisions were made to move forward on a 90-day plan that involves more community involvement.
"I feel very positive about the future of this plan." Sheriff Lott continues, "When the community gets involved, less crimes and less lives are taken."

Sheriff Leon Lott was a guest speaker at the Y Not Believe- Empowerment of People event. Sheriff was warmly welcomed by the attendees and other local community leaders. This event was a testament to our commitment to transparency, community outreach, and collaboration!

Sheriff Lott was able to show off his Halloween themed office to one of youngest fans. Jude loves law enforcement and was quickly inspired to pick out his costume this year, a policeman!
