At our annual Community Luncheon, some of the most important work happens behind the scenes.

Once again, the incredible women of Uplift Professional Women of Tri-Lakes generously shared their time and talents to help our Community Luncheon run smoothly from beginning to end.

Thank you, Uplift - Professional Women of Tri-Lakes, for continuing to show up with willing hearts, helping hands, and a true spirit of community. We are so grateful to have you beside us!

Staying often looks ordinary.

For one busy foster family, volunteers regularly cover dinner, homework, or bedtime so the parents can reconnect.

These acts may feel small, but when offered consistently, they create stability for the entire family.

To everyone who attended, gave, sponsored, volunteered, invited others, or shared our story, thank you!

This work is possible because people like you choose to lock arms with us and stay alongside foster families, children, and young adults. We truly could not do it without you.

We also invite you to learn more about the generous sponsors who stand with Fostering Hope and help make this work possible.

When a biological child in a foster family needed reliable transportation to work, a volunteer provided rides for several months.

At Fostering Hope, we support the whole family. Sometimes staying means noticing and meeting a need that might otherwise be overlooked.

During an especially difficult moment, a volunteer stayed beside a foster family until the crisis had passed.

Later, she returned to join them for a celebration, showing that their relationship was not defined by one hard day.

We STAY through the hard moments. Then come back for the good ones.

Help can change a difficult day. Staying can change the direction of a life.

For children and young adults who have experienced disrupted relationships, staying means showing up again, following through, and remaining present through the hard moments and the milestones.

Journey with us this month as we share what it looks like when people choose to STAY.

Growing food, serving our community, and strengthening relationships along the way!

The Sacred Heart team recently visited Mountain Springs Hydroponics, where they helped harvest lettuce and plant new crops for local food banks.

Experiences like this provide meaningful enrichment while creating opportunities for young people and volunteers to connect, learn, and work side by side. It was a wonderful day of giving back, trying something new, and growing relationships!

There’s nothing quite like cheering on the Switchbacks from a private suite!

Thanks to the generosity of Laura and Jeremy, several of our Fostering Adulthood young people and volunteers enjoyed a special night together at the game. For young adults who have aged out of foster care, opportunities like this provide a chance to relax, have fun, and experience what it means to be included.

We’re grateful to Laura and Jeremy for sharing their tickets and giving our young adults a night to remember!
