Please be advised that the east side of Bear Creek Regional Park East will be temporarily closed on Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. due to road construction activities.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as improvements are completed. Please plan accordingly and use alternate park access areas, such as the Bear Creek Dog Park parking area or Bear Creek Regional Park Terrace (West) parking lots, during the closure window.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation!

The 2025 Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report (CAPER) summarizes how Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds were used in 2025. The El Paso County CDBG program funds projects and services that support housing, public facilities, and other community development efforts, particularly for low- and moderate-income County residents.

The public is invited to review the 2025 CAPER and submit comments from May 7 through May 22, 2026.

🚧 Temporary Closure Notice – Bear Creek Regional Park Tennis Courts 🎾

The tennis courts at Bear Creek Regional Park are currently closed due to court conditions and safety concerns.

Looking ahead, exciting improvements are on the way! El Paso County Parks is planning:
✔️ (2) new tennis courts
✔️ (6) new pickleball courts
✔️ A central plaza with shade
✔️ ADA accessibility upgrades
✔️ Parking lot expansion
✔️ Renovation of the archery range

🛠️ Construction is anticipated to begin mid-2026.

To access Bear Creek Regional Park East and Park Headquarters, head east on Rio Grande from 21st Street and turn right on Creek Crossing Street.
