Academy District 20 Academy District 20 serves over 26,000 students at 40 schools in Colorado Springs.

D20 has been Accredited with Distinction by the state of CO for 18 years in a row and has some of the highest graduation rates in the state. Academy District 20 (ASD20) was founded in 1957 and serves more than 26,000 students at 40 schools in northern Colorado Springs. As the largest school district to be Accredited with Distinction from the state of Colorado for 15 years in a row, ASD20 has some of the highest graduation rates in the state.

🍎📜 History you can see, hear AND taste!

For the fifth year, Challenger Middle School eighth graders brought the Thirteen Colonies to life during their annual Colonial Fair.

Students had just one week to research their colony, create their displays and prepare historically accurate foods, from homemade apple butter and Benne Wafers to succotash and ham and biscuits.

The hands-on project helps students dig deeper into colonial life before taking on their next chapter in U.S. history: the Revolutionary War.

Pine Creek High School senior Livi Zapata is one of six winners of the El Paso County Clerk and Recorder’s “I Voted” Sticker Design Contest! 🏆

Her winning design will be included in ballot packets sent to registered voters beginning Oct. 5.
