In a century sprinting toward automation and distraction at breakneck pace, theatre has become one of the last refuges where presence is not just encouraged. It is required. Students cannot “half-attend” a rehearsal. They cannot turn off their camera. They cannot mute themselves. They stand before their peers, breathe deeply, and try to bring truth to life.

Hard to believe we're wrapping up another year! Tomorrow is the Advanced Acting class' original show, Don't Yell Fire In A Theatre (30 plays in 60 minutes). Followed by Drama Awards. 7pm. Fri. Maybe 9. Cost is the roll of a di minus $1.

CMHS 9th grader: "I had two goals for this production. Wear a pretty dress. Speak lines. 1 out of 2 isn't bad!" Come see all the "pretty dresses" and hear all the "spoken lines" April 11 and 12 at 7pm or April 13 at 2pm.
