Happy World Environment Day! Today's a day to celebrate eco friendly solutions and all the little things we can do to make our environment better for this and future generations.

Just as learning does not end when school lets out, neither does the need for good nutrition. Children who aren't hungry learn better, act better, and feel better. During the school year, more than 18 million children receive free and reduced - price meals at school. During the summer, that number drops to about 3 million. Summer food programs provide nutritious meals to children.
School District 11 will again offer an open summer food service program for children 1-18 years of age. The program will provide free breakfast and lunch during the summer at the locations, dates, and times shown below.
Please note: All sites will be closed on Friday July 3rd, in observance of Federal holidays.

Today we got to celebrate the last day of school and our last day with our 8th graders in the best way possible, by having fun with each other and celebrating our community! Thank you to Coach Halbrook and all the volunteers who made today's field day possible. We hope everyone has a wonderful summer and we look forward to seeing you in the fall!

AcademyACL had an amazing time celebrating our DI students tonight! Thank you to all the families who braved the weather to listen to their songs, cheer for their accomplishments, and come together to celebrate the end of their first year of school. We cannot wait to see all the amazing things you go on to do. Congratulations DI!

Today, AcademyACL is closed in honor of Memorial Day. We look forward to seeing everyone for the final week of the 2025-2026 school year tomorrow.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support our SpringFest! This was our first student written and directed theatrical performance, and we appreciate all who showed to ensure it was a rousing success! Congratulations to our Upper Division Encore Elective students on a job well done! Enjoy your long weekend. You have earned it!

Don't forget, tomorrow night is our annual SpringFest. Our Encore elective students have been working hard on their various productions and we look forward to sharing them with you!

Doors open at 5:30 with the show beginning at 6. Tickets are not required, but this one of our most well attended events, so we do encourage you to arrive early for the best seats.
