Notably, SPC Mornay, despite still being a Specialist, won the NCO of the Month competition—an impressive feat that highlights his readiness for increased responsibility and leadership as a promotable Specialist. At a recent ceremony in Zagan,

PFC Barrow was promoted to Specialist, marking an important step in his military career.

SGT Reiswitz, SPC Vidmar, and 2LT Laperchia were also recognized for their hard work and dedication, receiving Army Achievement Medals (AAM) for their efforts at the M4/M17 range in August. Their teamwork and leadership were key to the success of the training. Congratulations Misfits!

The Misfits have been busy over the past month with a variety of achievements:

1st Platoon successfully conducted a range, with all members qualifying on both the M17 and M4 weapon systems.

PFC Cheney has been awarded the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal (MOVSM) in recognition of his exemplary commitment to volunteering during his personal time.

SGT Faber, SGT Kowalski, CPL Mayor, SPC Montez, and SPC Edwards received Certificates of Achievement (COA) for their outstanding efforts in supporting the unit's 4th of July event.

CPL Mayor was promoted to the rank of Sergeant, recognizing his hard work, leadership, and commitment to his Soldiers.
