Gathering at Briargate (GAB) is a program at Briargate Community Library designed to function as a social outlet but with a more serious purpose.
We will design and implement community service programs-the beneficiaries are determined by the group. It's a great way to make new friends and do good deeds.

Well, we meet today, Wednesday September 21 and did decide to to the art supply drive for children who are being helped by Tessa. Would love to have any and all come next Wednesday, September 28 at 10am to get the ball rolling on the campaign. Bring your best ideas of how to promote this drive for an excellant organization! TESSA of Colorado Springs | Building a Community Without Domestic & Sexual Violence TESSA of Colorado Springs's mission is to help women and their children achieve safety and well-being while challenging communities to end sexual and family violence.
Our next meeting will be Wednesday October 19 at Briargate Library at 10am! How about a project to collect art supplies for the children in Tessa facilities? The art supplies aren't just for fun. They can be used to help children express their emotions when they might not be able to verbalize them! Come help us plan this project and, then, facilitate it. Let's do good deeds!

We delivered 19 pairs of new pajamas, 24 new books and 14 pairs of new socks to CASA on behalf of the Pajama Program. Thank you to everyone who donated pjs, books and socks!
Well, our Pajama Program drive is winding down. We'll be delivering all the books and pajamas shortly. But, that means it's time to plan our next event. Meeting tomorrow August 17 at Briargate Community Library at 10am. Hope to see you there!

We had our Pajama Party last night. Thank you to all who came. The new pajama and new book drive is now underway. Drop off a pair of new pajamas and a new book for a child-infant to age 17 at Briargate Library @9475 Briar Village Pt., Suite 100. To benefit the Pajama Program local chapter. A great way to help a child in need.
I bought the pajamas and books I want to donate yesterday. Also bought some pajamas I can wear to the Pajama Party Kickoff. 7pm, Tuesday July 19 at Briargate Community Library. Come hear some good stories, do a craft, have a cookie and donate a pair of pjs & a book to a good cause!
