Earlier this year, El Paso County and the Colorado Springs City Council supported the Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC’s court filing to push back against a frivolous lawsuit challenging the President’s Space Command decision.

At that time, we spoke out against attempts to use the Space Command decision for personal political ambition and reaffirmed that national security decisions must be based on what keeps our country safe—not politics.

Today’s announcement about new investments in El Paso County is a direct result of our willingness to work with the federal government. Our region is now positioned to strengthen the nation’s defense even more.

Thank you to the Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC, Congressman Crank, and Colorado Springs City Council for your leadership.
