Regulated cannabis sales raised $3.8 million for Colorado Springs in 2025, a strong start given only eight and a half months in operation. Tax revenue has already funded training for 36 new firefighters along with other safety, mental health, and veteran services.

$3.8M from ma*****na sales hits Colorado Springs, here’s where the money is going The revenue comes from a 5% special ma*****na tax approved by voters in 2024, along with standard city sales tax and a portion of state tax shared back to the city.
