Community Chapel Our Mission: As a visible reminder of the "Holy", the Chaplain Corps provides spiritual care and the opportunity for Air Force members and their families to exercise their constitutional right to freedom of religion.

Throwback Thursday!

The massive project continues on and workers continue to abate the asbestos. Asbestos abatement is being completed in 3 phases/locations of the structure and they're currently working on the last phase, near the middle. All of the Dalle de Verre stained glass (24,000+ pieces) are back at Judson Studios in Los Angeles, CA being cleaned/repaired. Both pipe organs are currently being restored at the AE Schlueter Pipe Organ Company outside Atlanta, GA. And Performance Mock-up testing is currently being done in Dallas, TX on the new weather resistant panels with new aluminum and glass. Upon completion of performance testing, that system will then go through Aesthetic Mock-up testing right here on site, just west of the Chapel and outside for everyone to see.

The Cadet Chapel is the U.S.โ€™s most complex modernist preservation project ever (The Architect's Newspaper, 2 March 2021) and what a project it is to see in-person!
