AFSA Chapter 1180- USAFA

Hey Everyone!

AFSA Chapter 1180 will host its first quarterly Lunch and Learn on 3 March @ 1100 in Polaris East Seminar Room. This first rendition will feature AFSA HQ updates and a Q&A Panel with USAFA Chiefs. Food will be available on a first come, first served basis. Come prepared with an appetite and your questions for our Chiefs! All USAFA DoD members are welcome to attend.

AFSA Division 6🎊Happy New Years Everyone 🎊

As the new year comes around, we would like to highlight some things our chapter were able to accomplish. AFSA Chapter 1180 was able to support mutiple base events including The Order of the Sword, Fire Department Open House and Promotional Releases. Partnering with Kristen Christy - America's Resilience Trainer (10th ABW Honorary Commander) Air Academy Chapter NCOA and our Housing Advocate, we were able to provide 22 Air Conditioning units to base housing for our E-4 and below households.We hope to continue this for our fellow Academy residents. We sent two individuals to the AFSA International Conference for professional development and to advocate for the needs of USAFA. None of this would be possible without our members and their hours to keeping this chapter alive. Thank you all.

As 2025 starts we are switching our meeting times and dates to the following:

- Executive Council: 1st Monday of the Month @1100-1200 (Location is the Falcon Club Pub unless otherwise announced)

- General Membership: 3rd Monday of the Month@1100-1200 (Location is the Falcon Club Pub unless otherwise announced)

Good Afternoon everyone and Happy Wednesday!

Next week is our general membership meeting for the chapter. Topics are going to include Division conference, volunteering and opportunities.

We are also hosting an open discussion professional development workshop. We will be reviewing the Chief Mastersegeant’s of the Air Force board that was at the international summit.
