Award-winning Kindergarten through 5th grade elementary school. Further, students will be encouraged to recognize and value scholarship and character.

It is the vision of James Irwin Charter Schools that all students can benefit from a rigorous college preparatory program that challenges them to achieve their academic potential. We won BRONZE in the Gazette’s 2026 Best of the Springs for Best Elementary! Thanks for voting for us!

Best Middle School: JICMS - GOLD!
Best Technical School: PTEC - GOLD!
Best High School: JICHS - SILVER!
Best Elementary School: James Irwin Elementary - BRONZE!

Besides placing in all 4 school categories, Aspen Ware (2nd grade teacher at the Astrozon Campus) won BRONZE, and JICHS Junior Ezekiel Uyan won GOLD in two DJ categories-- wedding and event.

Last month, our staff participated in a team-building art experience that transformed challenges into a shared vision rooted in honesty, integrity, respect, responsibility, and excellence. The final piece symbolizes resilience, renewal, and the foundation we build for students every day. We are proud of the dedicated people behind this work!
