Run, don't walk (wait, no running in the library!) to snag one of the most popular board games of 2024 at Library 21c. Saturday was the first day this year that all five were on the shelf at the same time - so by the time you read this, you might have already missed 'em! You can see a listing of all of the board games around PPLD in the catalog by searching for “board game”.

All Pikes Peak Library District locations will be closed Mon., May 26 in observance of Memorial Day. The eLibrary and other online services and resources will still be available.

Speaking of summer, we are taking applications for teen volunteers for just a bit longer! Volunteers at Library 21c this summer can assist with children's programs, shelving, the day to day tasks that keep the library running, and other special projects. New makerspace staff just finished training and are ready to help you with your creative projects! Stop by and see what you can make in our makerspaces at East and Sand Creek libraries, as well as Library 21c. You can also sign up for one of our classes to learn how to use our machines. Registration fills up quickly, so be sure to plan ahead. Learn more at ppld.org/makerspaces

Join us for the 2025 Mountain of Authors program, featuring Keynote Author Pete McBride! Our annual Mountain of Authors program provides an opportunity for readers and local authors to network and hear from notable authors, as well as learn more about the craft of writing and trends in publishing. We're still accepting applications for teen volunteers over the summer at Library 21c!
Summer teen opportunity! We're looking for teen volunteers for our 2025 PPLD Summer Adventure presented by Friends of Pikes Peak Library District reading program this summer. Volunteer experience looks good on college and job applications, and this is a pretty fun one. Teens will help with registration, handing out prizes, program support, and more.
