Tweens, ready to start your 3D printing journey?
Join us next Saturday, March 21, from 10 a.m.–1 p.m. at Library 21c (Make II) to learn the basics of 3D design. This class (ages 9–12) allows you to use the 3D printers independently during open makerspace hours at East, Sand Creek, and Library 21c.

New Horizon Youth and Family Services is looking to fill several full-time and part-time positions to include; Life Skill Coach/Mentor, Supervised Visitation, HBI and Family Preservation, Spanish speaking is a bonus.
We are contracted with DHS, DYS and Youth Probation. We partner with many other local providers to provide services to our at risk youth and families. We work with 4th Judicial and the schools within El Paso County addressing the truancy issues and prevention.
The right candidates will be flexible, caring, compassionate but able to set and maintain professional boundaries work well within multi-disciplinary team and sometimes stressful situations. Must be able to work as a team, have good time-management and flexible. This is not your typical 9-5 job, as we work with many young people who need mentors after school and on weekends.
In these positions the right candidate will assist with everything from basic life skills such as job search, budgeting, housing, transition and education opportunities to instructing parenting classes, groups, in home and office therapy. Each of our clients have their own set of unique needs.
Minimum of a two-year degree preferred. Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a background check. Competitive pay, average is $20.00 to $22.00 an hour depending on the position and experience. Looking to hire immediately due to tremendous growth.

Have you heard?!
New Horizon Youth and Family Services is proud to announce we have officially moved to our new location for Family Time Supervised Visits. All in-center visits will be occurring at our new location, 516 West Bijou. Our new location presents us with an even greater opportunity to provide a home-like environment for our families. In addition our new space has provided us the opportunity to have six separate visits occurring at the same time, all of our rooms are more spacious and we have a larger room that will allow us to accommodate larger families.
We would like to invite you to stop by our new location on Thursday, December 14th from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. for our open house to see our new space as well as meet the staff in the department. Please feel free to share with colleagues who may not have received this email but would be interested in touring our new location.
In addition to our new space, our visitation department is now fully staffed,which has provided us the opportunity to expand available slots 7 days a week. We currently have openings throughout the week in addition to Saturday and Sunday availability as well. We also do have openings available throughout the week in the evening as well.
We are also able to accommodate requests for community as well as in-home supervision. We will continue to offer virtual visits for those families who are not currently able to do visits in person. We are also excited to share that we have three Spanish speaking supervisors. We are able to accommodate families who are in need of a Spanish speaking supervisor seven days a week throughout the day and in the evening as well.
Summary of Open Availability:
Monday through Sunday 9:00 am - 8:00 pm (we do accommodate visits beginning at 8:00 AM on a case by case basis).
Spanish speaking supervisors available Monday through Sunday day and evenings.
Open availability for community and in-home visits.
Open availability for virtual visits.
