It may be fall break for our students but our staff is engaging with some professional development on Monday and Tuesday! We started with a performance by TCA’s choir, and speaker, Josh Dunn, discussions on the Declaration of Independence and then classes taught by fellow teachers! And more classes on Tuesday!

Celebrating the special bond between grandparents and grandchildren!

For Grandparent’s Day, TCA fifth- and sixth-grade students wrote heartfelt letters sharing favorite memories and expressing gratitude for the love, wisdom, and encouragement their grandparents provide.

Several students (pictured) representing each of TCA’s elementary schools had the opportunity to read their letters to the Board for "Celebrate TCA". A beautiful reminder of the lasting impact grandparents have on their grandchildren’s lives.

Congrats to the Titan boys’ golf team who qualified the maximum four players for the 3A State Golf Championship in Alamosa, Colorado on Oct 5, 6. This is the first four-person team TCA has had since 2019. TCA finished in 7th place as a team at the state tournament; best finish in 20 years for the boys. Grady Ortiz tied for 5th individually, which is a new school record.

7th Grade Trench Day today. The students experience what soldiers experienced during WW1. Students dig trenches, see what it’s like to be cared for in a field hospital, hear war stories and get a taste of battlefield provisions! History being brought to life for them!
