Care Drive for Care and Share Food Bank

This Saturday, November 8 PPEJC is sponsoring a Fiduciary Training session for non-professionals. This training provides useful information to the general public to learn how to be a guardian or conservator for older adults. See https://www.ppejc.org/fiduciary-education for more information.

Fiduciary Education | Pikes Peak Elder Justice Center | Colorado Springs Find out about upcoming trainings for both professional and non-professional fiduciaries (power of attorney, conservator, medial proxy, and guardian) all is the name of preventing elder abuse in the Pikes Peak Region.

PPEJC presented at Custer County Senior Fair in Westcliffe. Dr. Sheri Gibson (PPEJC Board Vice Chair) delivered a presentation on Fraud Prevention and provided materials on several topics for older adults.

In October PPEJC:

* Delivered a presentation at a conference in Keystone for the Colorado Organization for Victim Assistance (COVA) . The presentation focused on the work of the PPEJC and the E-MDT in particular.

* Attended and presented at the 2nd Annual Colorado Elder Justice Summit in Denver. Dr. Sheri Gibson (PPEJC Board Vice Chair) was a part of three presentations and panel discussions.

* Sponsored and participated in Senior Law Day in Colorado Springs.
