A momentous day for the Stratmoor Hills Fire District, graduating 14 dedicated recruits from the volunteer academy that began in February.
The JEL class of 2025 would like to thank the Stratmoor Hills community and all who supported the growth, development, funding, and instruction of these recruits. Keep an eye out whenever you see those lights and sirens, you may just see one of us out there supporting the community!

Graduation day for the Stratmoor Recruits is almost here…
Today the JEL class finish their last round of state exams before wrapping up 8 months of diligent work. We all hope see you on Saturday, October 18 at the church for all nations, 2188 Executive Circle at 3 pm!

🔥 Wildland Chainsaw Training in Action! 🪓🌲
Our new firefighters are getting hands-on experience in S-212 Wildland Fire Chainsaw Operations, learning the essential skills needed to safely and effectively use chainsaws on the fireline.
💪 Chainsaws are a critical tool in wildland firefighting — helping crews clear hazards, build fire lines, and protect communities.

8 days until these recruits graduate the Stratmoor Hills Volunteer Fire Academy. These recruits have worked for months to be able to serve the Stratmoor Hills community to the highest degree.

One of our beloved Fire Corps members is in the ICU at Memorial North Hospital. Members of the recruit class from Stratmoor Hills Fire District will be meeting to support him at 1500 TODAY, OCTOBER 2!
He said, “bring the firefighters here”. You don’t have to be with Stratmoor. Show some support for this wonderful young man and stop by.
