Colrain - MA Police Department

09/11/2026

Good afternoon everyone! As we prepare for this nights relighting of Glowing Glory there are a few things we would like to remind people. There will be limited parking at Pine Hill. Pine Hill will be shuttling viewers from their parking lot to the base of the hill at the viewing area. Due to safely we ask that there is no walking from Pine Hill to the viewing area. You must take a shuttle. There will also be no parking anywhere on the road way. Again keep in mind Pine Hill has limited parking. Thank you all!

The Colrain Police Department would like to remind everyone to keep a close eye on the weather, as heavy rain and localized flooding are expected over the next 48 hours.

If you must travel, please use extra caution. Slow down, allow extra stopping distance, and never drive through flooded roadways. It only takes a small amount of moving water to make a road unsafe.

The Colrain Police Department will be available throughout the storm to respond to emergencies and assist the community as needed.

Two new positions were approved in Colrain, with an executive assistant and an administrative assistant for the police department approved.

The Conway Police Chief, along with neighboring police chiefs, were proud to have taken part in the FBI-LEEDA Trilogy Series, a leadership training program designed to help law enforcement better serve their communities. In small towns, like Conway, strong relationships, communication, and trust matter. This training helped us to continue building those connections while growing as leaders. We were grateful for the opportunity to learn, improve, and serve the residents of the towns we serve to the best of our ability.
