Today we had a threat at Terrace Hills Middle School. Law enforcement was on campus when the threat occurred and responded swiftly. The campus was placed on lockdown. An investigation determined within an hour that the threat was not credible. All students and staff are safe. We appreciate the support and swift response by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, staff, parents and students.
Please know that the safety of students and staff is always our top priority. We want to remind everyone to please continue to report any safety concerns directly to law enforcement and/or school administration. If you see something or hear something, say something.

The Tomorrow’s Leaders Foundation presented a $17,500 donation for our school libraries at this week’s Board of Education Meeting. 📚📕📘🙏🏽👏🏽
The nonprofit foundation formed three years ago with the goal of bringing in community leaders and business partners to award scholarships to our graduating seniors and to support the work of the district in various ways. They also recently partnered with Amazon to award a total of $25,000 worth of grants to CJUSD classroom teachers as well as to provide backpacks and school supplies to students at Lincoln Elementary School.

It’s a Kindness Bus teaser! What will it look like this year? Some of our Bloomington HS art students are working on it now! 🧡🚍🚐🙌🏼🧡
Each year our Transportation and Student Services departments - with help from student artists - roll out a specially painted “Kindness Bus” to visit elementary schools on Unity Day to promote kindness and inclusion and to remind us that bullying is not acceptable. Unity Day this year is Wednesday, Oct. 21.
