Today is the day! Join us Saturday, May 9 for Family Forestry Expo from 9am-3pm with a FREE logging camp lunch from 11am - 1pm.
Take a walk along a half mile of chipped trail and learn about our area forests by visiting a backcountry campsite, testing your tree ID and taking home a free conifer seedling, learning to be bear aware, checking out the many insects that live in our forest streams, learning how you can be "firewise" at your home in the woods and fire safe when camping, meeting live owls and finding out what animals make their home in our beautiful and diverse Northwest Montana forests!
Visit the exhibit tent and learn about the many organizations that help to take care of and manage our area forests.
