Last year, Mrs. Ashworth had a group of 4th graders that approached her about starting a recycling program at Copopa.
She loved that not only was this group of girls caring about our environment, but they were, also, self starters and had some ideas of how they could get the plan up and going.

At the end of last school year, Mrs. Ashworth nominated them for the A+ Award through Newsdepth. We have exciting news to share. These young ladies received the award! They had a feature story with pictures and quotes on last week's episode.

Congratulations to Eco Elite 8 Planet Protectors:
Nora Case, McKenzie Kasmarcak, Reese Koehler,
Breanna Kovach, Avery Kovachy, Cora Lucius, Adhya Patel, and Payton Williams!
