🍂💙 World Teachers’ Day at Hyatt Park! 💛🍁

In celebration of World Teachers’ Day, our administrative team wanted to bring a little extra sunshine to our amazing faculty and staff! ☀️ We surprised them with our “Sip Into October” Fall-Fueled Station, filled with drinks and energy boosts to help everyone start their day with a smile. 🥤☕🍂 While we hope everyone enjoyed the treats, I think the greatest part was simply seeing the smiles on their faces when they discovered their fall surprise. 💙 At Hyatt Park, we want our teachers and staff to know that they are seen, valued, loved, and that they belong. Those are more than words we say, they are values we are intentional about living out each and every day. Our faculty and staff pour so much into our students, families, and one another. Small moments like these are just one way we can pour a little love and appreciation right back into them. Happy World Teachers’ Day to our incredible Cougar Family, RESET cousins, and Thrive cousins! 🐾💙💛

Today was truly bittersweet at Hyatt Park. 💙💛🐾

Today marked Mr. Rogers’ last day with us, and while we are excited to welcome Mrs. Way as she begins her first year at Hyatt Park as our Assistant Principal, saying “see you later” to Mr. Rogers was not easy.

Mr. Rogers has been such a wonderful addition to our Hyatt Park family. His presence, encouragement, humor, and those signature high fives quickly made an impact on our students and staff. We were incredibly fortunate to have him spend this season with us and hope he enjoyed his elementary school experience just as much as we enjoyed having him here.

And, of course, we live by our mantra: Once a Cougar, always a Cougar! 🐾

To honor his transition, we celebrated Mr. Rogers with a special farewell walk today. Our students lined the halls with cards, hugs, smiles, cheers, and plenty of those famous high fives to let him know just how much he has meant to us. It was such a beautiful way to close out his time at the Park.

At the same time, we are so excited for Mrs. Way and all of the greatness she will bring to Hyatt Park. We look forward to this new chapter and everything ahead for our Cougar family.

You will be missed, Mr. Rogers! Thank you for being part of our Hyatt Park story. 💙💛 Once a Cougar, always a Cougar! 🐾

Our Book Fair is here. Hyatt Park Elementary Schools has one of the highest levels of poverty in the school district. Not all students get to enjoy the book fair. Please donate to our book fair so students who don't normally have money can get something for free. Your donations also contribute to our sales goal! All donations are appreciated.
