🏀 REGISTRATION NOW OPEN: Lexington-Richland School District Five and Irmo Chapin Recreation Commission (ICRC) announce Winter 2026 Bridge League Development registration for basketball. The partnership between ICRC and School District Five helps children build fundamental skills, understand game rules, and prepare for competitive play.

The winter league will focus on basketball for boys ages 11-14 and girls ages 9-14. Registration is open October 8-November 4, 2026. The league is open to all children, regardless of school district.

Children will be able to play for their zoned school team and mascot (Irmo, Chapin, or Dutch Fork) wearing district school colored and logoed jerseys. The League aims to provide a place for all to play for their school with pride, improve skills and sportsmanship, while having fun.

League games and practices will take place at ICRC and School District Five facilities.

Youth sports have been shown to contribute to higher graduation rates and benefit children by reducing anxiety and depression, improving mood and well-being, increasing self-esteem, enhancing social and life skills, and improving academic performance.

Calling all crafters, makers and artisans! Our annual Fall Craft Fair at Seven Oaks Park is coming up on September 19, and vendor spaces are still available! If you create handmade crafts, unique gifts, seasonal décor or other artisan goods, we’d love to have you be part of the fair.

• Double Space w/ 1 table: $55
