We create a high-quality educational experience that helps keep students engaged in a safe learning environment.

Serving Missouri students in grades K-12 with a full-time, tuition-free online public school program and the kind of connection that helps kids grow into confident learners. True to our name, we believe meaningful connections drive better academic outcomes, so we build a strong circle of support that unites students, families, and educators. Beyond academics, our teachers focus on building fundamental life skills, partnering with families to help students learn how they learn best. Here, students gain the skills needed to thrive in the real world by becoming resourceful and resilient. Missouri Connections Academy is operated and authorized in partnership with the Sturgeon R-V School District and the Louisiana School District. 🌟 Congratulations to Journee for being a Star Student for September! 🌟

When we asked her family, "What works well for you in the program, and if you previously attended a different type of school, how is it different?" they said this is their first year doing online, as Journee previously attended a brick-and-mortar school.

"It has been so beneficial for Journee. She's engaged and actually excited to log on every day. You can really see how the curriculum is tailored for her."

🌟 Congratulations to Ryker for being a Star Student for September! 🌟

Ryker's favorite subject is math, and he enjoys doing multiplication. ✖️

Ryker's family was attracted to Missouri Connections Academy because of the ability to work from home, but also because of not having the stress of bullying.

🌟 Congratulations to Joshua for being a Star Student for September! 🌟

We asked, "What interested you about Missouri Connections Academy?"

Joshua's parent said it was the structure and support of an actual school while still being able to manage their own schedule. They value having access to teachers, a set curriculum, and resources while still being able to be involved in his education as a parent.

They were looking for a school that worked with their family’s lifestyle and allowed Joshua to learn, grow, and build confidence. We're so happy to hear we stood out!

Two of our middle school science teachers, Mrs.Kelley and Mrs. Rosser, have started a science club. For the first meeting, they extracted DNA from a strawberry.

3 cities → 3 days → 300 people

The STEM Van officially made its way through Kansas City, Springfield, and St. Louis for our first-ever Missouri Connections Academy Back-to-School STEM events!

Across all three events, we welcomed Missouri Connections Academy students and family members for hands-on STEM experiences, connection, and a chance to learn alongside some incredible community partners.

This work started with the support and partnership of TIES Teaching Institute for Excellence in STEM (TIES) and their STEM-on-the-Go Van and grew through an incredible network of organizations willing to show up for students across Missouri.

Our partners shared their time, expertise, and passion for STEM. Our school staff helped bring each event to life, supporting families, activities, and all the moving pieces behind the scenes. And our families traveled from across the state to give their students an opportunity to explore, build, connect, and learn together.

A huge THANK YOU to every organization, volunteer, staff member, and family who helped make this possible.
