Join People First of Boone County for the annual Walk & Roll-a-thon! 💙

People First of Boone County is a local self-advocacy group created by, led by, and for people with developmental disabilities. The group helps people speak up for themselves, build leadership skills, advocate for change, and take an active role in their communities. Anyone who supports this mission is welcome to join!

🚶‍♀️♿ Walk & Roll-a-thon — This Saturday, October 24 at 11 a.m.
📍 Happy Hollow Shelter, Stephens Lake Park, Columbia

We’ll stroll, walk and roll along the accessible path around Stephens Lake, then enjoy pizza and beverages together afterward.

This year, we’re bringing together Bullying Prevention Month and Disability Employment Awareness Month with a simple message: The world would be better for everyone if there were less bullying and more good jobs for people with disabilities!

Come walk, roll, connect and show your support for a more loving, inclusive community. 💙
