This Grant is to replace old SCBA and Compressor too. (19 years old gear we have now )For Epping Fire District … This a very substantial Grant for our Towns. All firefighters—active, retired, volunteer, paid-on-call, and career—are invited to join us for our Annual Firefighters Memorial Service.

📍 Firefighters Memorial in Augusta

If you have a Class A uniform, please wear it. If not, please wear your best department dress attire.

Together, we will honor and remember the firefighters we have lost over the past year, including two line-of-duty deaths :

Morrill Volunteer Fire Department

🇺🇸 Assistant Chief Wayne Woodbury, age 76
Searsmont Fire Department

Please join us as the fire service comes together to remember their lives, honor their service, and support their families and departments.

PUBLIC INVITED TO SEPT. 11 REMEMBRANCE CEREMONY

Local fire departments and first responders will host a public remembrance ceremony at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 11, in the parking lot of the Lee Pellon Center, Route 1, Machias.

All are welcome to attend and pay tribute to those lost on September 11, 2001.
