Together SC was formed in 1997 by nonprofit leaders from across the state. Together SC is South Carolina’s only organization focused solely on supporting and strengthening the state’s nonprofit community through education, advocacy, communications, collaboration and leadership. We are comprised of 800+ members representing nonprofit organizations, business partners, associations, foundations and philanthropic organizations, government agencies and academic institutions. We believe the world will be a better place when all people work together for good. We’re on a mission to strengthen, unite and advance South Carolina’s nonprofit and philanthropic community by learning together, speaking together and leading together.

Two years of leadership.
30 years of strengthening South Carolina's nonprofit network.

This month, we're celebrating President & CEO Karen Riordan's second anniversary with Together SC!

Over the past two years, Karen has helped guide our organization into an exciting new chapter, strengthening relationships, championing collaboration, and bringing renewed energy and vision to our work across SC.

As Together SC celebrates 30 years of connecting, supporting, and advocating for nonprofits, Karen's leadership is helping us honor our legacy while building momentum for what's next.

Please join us in celebrating Karen and the leadership, passion, and commitment she brings to South Carolina's nonprofit network every day!

Celebrate with us! In honor of 30 years of Together SC, consider making a $30 gift to our 30 for 30 Anniversary Fund to help strengthen South Carolina's nonprofit network for the next 30 years.

🍦A little ice cream, a lot of connection!

This week, nonprofit colleagues from across the Midlands came together for Fall for Connection, an autumn ice cream social hosted by Dominion Energy in Cayce.

It was a sweet afternoon of catching up with familiar faces, making new connections, and strengthening the relationships that help South Carolina’s nonprofit community thrive.

A special thank you to Dominion Energy for hosting and to everyone who joined us! We're grateful for opportunities to bring our network together, because stronger connections build stronger communities.

2026 Governor's Volunteer Award honoree Tom Russell founded Children's Cancer Partners of the Carolinas to help families overcome barriers to essential cancer care.

More than two decades later, his dedication continues to make a difference for children and families across the Carolinas.
