While we know that many factors can affect your mental health, we also know that community is a protective factor against su***de. 💙

Community provides a safety net of people who care and can reach out when someone may be at risk. It is a useful and lasting way of strengthening our own mental health while being there for one another. 🫂✨

As we continue to move through Mental Health Awareness Month, please remember that sharing your story could save a life!

1 in 5 adults experience mental illness at some point in their lives and 1 in 7 youth are diagnosed with a mental health disorder. That means we are ALL connected in this experience, together.

If you need support with speaking up or finding resources, don't hesitate to reach out to us at NAMI, or if you are in crisis, please call 988.
