Position Title: Social Media Volunteer
About Furqan Community Development:
Furqan Community Development is a non-profit organization that empowers communities through education, social services, and advocacy. We work towards creating a more just and equitable society by providing support and resources to needy individuals and families.
Responsibilities:
Creating and managing content for Furqan Community Development's social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
Developing a social media strategy to increase engagement and reach for the organization's initiatives and events.
Regularly posting updates on the organization's ongoing projects, events, and initiatives.
I'm responding to comments and messages on social media quickly and professionally.
Collaborating with the organization's team to create engaging multimedia content, including photos, videos, and infographics.
Analyzing social media metrics and creating reports to evaluate the success of social media campaigns.
Qualifications:
Strong writing and communication skills.
Familiarity with social media platforms and their best practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Creative and innovative mindset.
Passionate about social justice and community development.
Availability to work a minimum of 5 hours per week for at least 6 months.
