OMCA members will receive an electronic ballot. The election will be open from June 5-11, 2026. Member participation is critical in helping to shape the future of our organization.

Five candidates have filed to represent municipalities (choose 3).

Candidates Include:

Addie Balester, CMC (Municipal Clerk, City of Cleveland Heights)
Jessica Hilts, MMC (Management Analyst-Communication & Research, City of Gahanna)
Nichole Messner, MMC (Clerk of Council, City of Green)
Matt Po***ck (Clerk of Council, City of Marion)
Liz Westbrooks (Clerk of Council, City of Fairview Park)

OMCA members with voting privileges ( full members, retired members and honorary members) will have seven days beginning June 5, 2026, to cast their ballots. Ballots will be available in the Member Area of the website under SURVEYS.

The IIMC Conference in Reno, Nevada was a fun and educational experience for all who attended! A lot of exploring outside of the venue was an experience itself! Congratulations to Janice Bates of Tipp City who was sworn in as IIMC President-Elect!! Congratulations to Katie Lewallen of Riverside for being presented the Program Excellence in Governance Award (PEGA)!!

Election Time‼️
The OMCA Executive Committee is responsible for overseeing the operations and strategic direction of the Association. Key duties include managing membership and dues, filling committee vacancies, conducting long-term strategic planning, and serving in a governance and oversight role for the Association. The Committee also promotes professionalism, member engagement, educational opportunities, and the continued growth and improvement of the Association while representing municipal clerks across the state.

OMCA shall hold an election for three Board of Directors seats to serve on the Executive Committee, for a three-year term commencing January 1, 2027, expiring December 31, 2029.
