🚧 TRAFFIC ALERT | I-65 ROLLING STOPS 🚧

Per Duke Energy, motorists traveling on I-65 Saturday night into early Sunday morning should be prepared for temporary traffic stops while crews complete an urgent repair to a damaged transmission line.

📍 I-65 between State Road 46 and State Road 58
📅 Saturday, October 24 into Sunday, October 25
⏰ Beginning at approximately 11:00 PM Saturday and potentially continuing until 6:00 AM Sunday

Crews anticipate conducting four rolling stops at approximately 20-minute intervals during the work.

The repair is necessary after a transmission line was damaged approximately one month ago when a vehicle struck a utility pole. The work will allow the transmission line to be safely placed back into service.

🚗 Motorists traveling through the area overnight should expect temporary delays, allow additional travel time, and use caution around crews and traffic-control personnel.

Please plan accordingly if your weekend travel takes you along this portion of I-65.
