Who attended the first ever Home Title Fraud Summit, hosted by the Franklin County Auditor Michael Stinziano’s Office, Franklin County Recorder’s Office, and Columbus REALTORS. We had three great panel discussions raising awareness of home title fraud, how those issues are resolved criminally, and what changes can be made to both prevent and resolve deed fraud issues more quickly.

This event will bring together experts to discuss how to identify potential title and deed fraud, best practices for prevention, and the resources needed to better safeguard constituents.

The summit will include three panels focused on:

- The transfer and conveyance process
- Investigation and prosecution of home title fraud
- Solutions and action items

Join us TOMORROW at the Walk in Our Boots 5K Run and Walk to benefit local homeless veterans (hosted by American Legion Post #797)! The race starts at 10 AM at Gahanna Veterans Memorial Park (73 Johnstown Rd, Gahanna, 43230).

We will be registering folks for county-issued Veteran ID cards from 9 AM to 11 AM! Please bring your DD214 and a second form of ID to register for a new card. You can bring your damaged/expired card to get a renewed ID card.
