The EPA's AIM Act: HOW This has effected the Fire Suppression Industry, and Many Industrial, Petrochemical, Power Generation & Oil / Gas Users. The phase down in Fire Suppression Agents Began ON January 1, 2022. It requires the reduction of production and consumption of HFCs and HAS impacted Agents: FM-200 (HFC-227ea) and ECARO-25 (HFC-125). This has Negatively effected the "Manufacturer" New Agent List Pricing, For New Systems Supplied in the USA: FM-200 (500 % to 600% Increase) and Ecaro-25 (50% Increase For the year 2022). These Increases DO NOT Effect Systems that are Supplied Outside the USA, or the US Government. Replacement Agents Currently Available TODAY: Novec 1230 (By 3M), High Pressure Inert Gas, Water Mist, And inally Carbon Dioxide Systems.
