In Ohio, every vote is on paper, and every voter has the opportunity to verify their selections before casting their ballot.

Take a few extra seconds to make sure your paper ballot reflects exactly how you intended to vote. That same paper ballot is then used in Ohio’s post-election audits, which check the election night tally against a hand count audit to verify accurate results.

Be on the lookout for intentional election disinformation. Claims like these are NOT TRUE.

✅ Ohio law requires that EVERY piece of voting equipment is tested before the election to ensure it is working properly.

✅ EVERY vote cast in Ohio is recorded on a hand-marked or voter-verified paper ballot.

✅ Results are subjected to a bipartisan post-election audit.

Franklin County Board of Elections this morning!

Yesterday was Election Hero Day, and it’s easy to see why. These dedicated election officials are working hard to make sure every Ohioan can cast their ballots securely and with confidence.
