Last Friday 1-29th Infantry Regiment proudly recognized the Soldiers who provided operational support for Operation Distinguished Gentleman (OPDG). These Soldiers played a crucial role across Atlanta, diligently working alongside National Capital Region (NCR) personnel and the Secret Service to support the state funeral of Former President of the United States (FPOTUS) Jimmy Carter.

The tradition of Sergeant's Time Training. Practical, hands on development for Soldiers conducted by their NCO's. Soldiers from the 1-29th Infantry Regiment's Bayonet Company conduct Land Navigation Training, sharpening their skills.

Today we congratulate a group of Soldiers who graduated 1-29th Infantry Regiment Chaos Company's Master Marksmanship Trainers Course. These Soldiers will return to their units with the ability to advise, conduct training and enhance our forces marksmanship capabilities.

The 1-29th Infantry Regiment Eagle Company's Combatives Master Trainer Course draws Soldiers from across the Army. They are returned to their respective units as Master Trainers, equipped to enhance the effectiveness of our force. Today we congratulate a group of warriors on successfully graduating the 160 hour course.
