We'd like to take a moment to recognize some recent CSUPD achievements! At the 2026 Student Affairs Recognition Awards, CSUPD was presented with the Partnership Award. This award is given to a campus or community individual, department, or organization who goes above and beyond to support and collaborate on programs and initiatives sponsored by Student Affairs. Major Smith was also recognized for his twenty years of service to CSUPD, Student Affairs, and CSU as a whole.

Today we had the great pleasure of getting to see the Miracle Riders off as they embark on their 21-day, 9,300-mile journey across 16 states! This ride is done in support of the Columbus State University School of Nursing, and this partnership helps fund clinical labs that train future medical workers. We wish the riders safe travels and look forward to welcoming them back to Columbus!

🚔🍧 Cooling Off, Community Style! 🍧🚔
This weekend while on patrol, Sgt. Connally and Cpl. Glimore made a sweet stop they couldn’t resist — a neighborhood popsicle stand! They were excited to support a young entrepreneur and grabbed a couple of popsicles to beat the heat. 😎☀️
Moments like these remind us how special our community is. Whether it’s keeping our streets safe or sharing a quick smile over a popsicle, we’re always proud to serve and connect with you all.
If you see us out and about, don’t hesitate to say hello — we might just join you for a treat! 👋💙
